Each month, we take time to get to know some of our church members just a little bit better. We hope this short interview allows you to lean-in and helps us all know one another better and grow together as a body of believers.
Tell us a little bit about you and your family.
I am married to Lane and together we have two boys, Judah and Cristian. They are 3 years apart. We love to be outside, travel, and enjoy music. We look forward to our annual beach trip every year, and we love visiting with extended family.
Can you share one way that God has been faithful to you recently or something he is teaching you?
He has been really faithful in blessing us with good health. We are currently looking for a new house, and we are already seeing him be faithful with putting things together that we never could have expected. He is teaching me lately to delight in His Word. I am learning the beauty, mystery, and awe in His Word and how full it is.
How can we be praying for you?
I still struggle daily with being a stay at home mom. It was the last thing that I thought I would be doing, and sometimes boredom sets in, and I crave adventure. I have always loved traveling and new things, and have struggle with routine. I love and feel so blessed that God has allowed me to be a mother to these two wonderful boys, but I need prayer that I’ll begin to see the joy and excitement in each ordinary day.
What is your favorite family tradition?
I look forward to watching the same Christmas movies every year.
What age do you wish you could permanently be? Why?
25. You’ve been through enough to know better and you can take care of yourself, but you still look and feel relatively young and you have plenty of time left to do things on your own.
When you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up?
An actress
