Missionaries of the Month – September 2026
Each month, our Missions Committee highlights missionaries and ministry partners Trinity supports so that our church family can know them, pray for them, and see how God is at work through their ministry. This month, we’re highlighting Adair Evans with Mission to the World in Munich, Germany, and RUF-International at the University of Alabama, led by Campus Minister Fraser Perrett and intern, Ava Concannon.
Adair Evans | Mission to the World – Munich, Germany
Adair Evans serves with Mission to the World in Munich, Germany, where she is involved in ministry to women caught in prostitution and trafficking. Through relationships with women working in strip clubs and brothels, Adair and her ministry partners seek to bring the compassion and hope of Christ into places marked by deep brokenness and exploitation.
Her ministry involves both sharing the gospel and walking alongside women who are seeking a different future, partnering with local churches and organizations that provide practical care and safe housing. Adair’s work is a reminder that the gospel reaches into every place of human brokenness and that Christ sees and values those whom the world often overlooks.
Ways to Pray:
Pray for women experiencing trafficking and exploitation that they would find safety, freedom, and hope in Christ.
Pray for Adair and her ministry partners as they build relationships and have opportunities to share the gospel.
Pray for local churches in Munich to grow in their ability to care for vulnerable women and faithfully demonstrate the love of Christ.
RUF-International | University of Alabama
This month, we’re also highlighting RUF-International at the University of Alabama, led by Campus Minister Fraser Perrett and Intern Ava Concannon.
RUF-International exists to welcome international students in the name of Jesus Christ and help them navigate life in Tuscaloosa through friendship, hospitality, and community. More than 1,300 international students attend the University of Alabama, representing 96 different nations and territories. RUF-International sees this as an opportunity for the local church to welcome people from around the world and introduce them to the hope of the gospel.
Fraser and Ava are off to a busy start this fall, reconnecting with students they met last year while also meeting many new students. Their weekly rhythms include Chai Time on Tuesdays, a casual opportunity to connect with students on the Quad, and Dinner & Discussion on Thursdays, where students gather around a shared meal and study the Bible together. This semester, their study is called Stories Jesus Told and focuses on the parables of Jesus.
At the heart of RUF-International’s ministry is a simple hope: that every international student and scholar would know someone who genuinely follows Christ and, through that relationship, would see God’s goodness and love.
As a church, we have a unique opportunity to participate in this ministry simply by practicing Christian hospitality. When international students visit Trinity, we can notice them, welcome them, introduce ourselves, invite them to sit with us, and help them find a place in our church community.
Ways to Pray:
Pray for Fraser and Ava as they build genuine friendships with students from around the world and look for opportunities to share the gospel.
Pray for meaningful conversations and relationships through Chai Time, Dinner & Discussion, and other gatherings this semester.
Pray that students would encounter the goodness of God through the hospitality and friendship of Christian students, volunteers, and church members.
Pray for Trinity to be a warm and welcoming church for international students who visit, and that our members would recognize opportunities to extend hospitality.
Join us for the September 19 tailgate! This is an opportunity for the whole church to come, meet international students, and practice the hospitality of Christ. Pray that this gathering would help build meaningful friendships and open doors for gospel conversations.
