Sermon Series: Abide

Summer is a time when so many of us are on the move. If we're honest, the rest of the year can feel like this too! Between our busy schedules and our rapid-fire, online lives, it can be hard to find our bearings and remain connected to the Lord and everyone else in our lives. Even when we're at home, it's easy to feel displaced, hurried, and unsettled.

Though we find ourselves here, Jesus has an invitation for us. He invites us all to slow the pace of our hearts and learn to make our home in Him, regardless of where we are physically. He invites us to "Abide." He invites us to learn the rhythms of His grace in the midst of our harried lives. He wants us to see where our hearts are currently living and to bring them back home to Him and His Father. Over time, He wants to help us more and more live where our feet are too.

This is what we'll be exploring in our sermon series "Abide" this Summer: how Jesus invites us and helps us to make our home in Him. We hope you'll join us when you're in town and even online when you're on the road!

 
 
 

Training Hour | Sundays at 9 AM

How long? Why is this happening? Where are you, God? For centuries, God's people have learned to go to God with their real questions, struggles, and everyday needs by reading and studying the Psalms. In this practical, gospel-rich class, we'll learn about how the Psalms give us words to pray about the real struggles in our lives.Faith in Christ brings us into a living relationship with God, which means we can go to God in every circumstance and with every reaction of our hearts. We don't need to pretend things are good when they are not, or that we are strong when we are not. The Psalms are God's gift to his people his own words we can pray to strengthen our hearts and faith.

Explore the stories of Jesus through the eyes of the women who followed Him in Jesus through the Eyes of Women by Rebecca McLaughlin.
Tuesdays at 9:30 AM (with childcare) & 7:00 PM

Men are invited to gather weekly for Scripture, discussion, and encouragement.
