Welcome New Staff!

We are thankful for the ways the Lord continues to provide for new ministry opportunities at Trinity through the generosity of his people. As we seek to serve both our church family and our neighbors in Tuscaloosa, we are excited to begin exploring two new ministry initiatives: a Counseling Ministry and a Disability Ministry. Alongside these efforts, we are also grateful to welcome a new bookkeeper who will help support the day-to-day financial operations of the church. Please join us in welcoming three new staff members who will be serving Trinity in these roles.

Preston Adair

Counseling Project Director

Preston Adair will serve as Trinity’s Counseling Project Director, where she will explore and evaluate the feasibility of developing an on-site counseling center that could serve both our church family and the broader Tuscaloosa community. Preston previously served on staff at Trinity with our student ministry, and we are grateful to welcome her back in this new role.

“I am thrilled to be joining the staff as the Counseling Project Director. In May, I will graduate with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

I am currently completing my clinical training in private practice and at The University of Alabama Counseling Center, experiences that have deepened my passion for walking alongside individuals and families with care and compassion. It is a privilege to consider how Trinity can be part of the Lord’s work in bringing hope and healing to individuals and families in our community. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve in this role.

My husband, Charlie, and I will celebrate 30 years of marriage this August. We have three adult children and a new son-in-law, and we are adjusting to life as empty nesters. In this season, I especially enjoy spending time with our family, exercising with friends, good conversation around a kitchen table, needlepoint, and reading. I am truly excited to be rejoining the church staff!”

Debbie Glass

Belong Coordinator (Disability Ministry)

Debbie Glass will serve as Trinity’s Belong Coordinator, leading and developing a Christ-centered disability ministry that celebrates and supports children, adults, and families affected by disability.

Debbie was born and raised in Tuscaloosa. She attended Auburn University, where she met her husband, Robert. They have been married for 37 years and have two children, Kaitlyn and Jamie, and five grandchildren. Debbie and Robert have been members at Trinity for many years and are grateful to continue serving the church in this new way.

During her career, she worked as a varsity run coach for high school track and cross country. Debbie also coached marathon runners for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. After moving back to Tuscaloosa in 2011, she started working with Arts ‘n Autism. Debbie has served as the Executive Director of LIFEE (Learning Independence For Education and Experience) and Arts ‘n Autism’s adult program, Stillman LIFEE, a program at Stillman College that assists students with different abilities to get an education.

Debbie sees ability in all people, not disability.

“I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.” – Psalms 139: 13

“Jesus answered, ‘It was not that this man sinned, or his parents, but that the works of God might be displayed in him.’” – John 9:3
