Belong is a ministry at Trinity that embraces and celebrates people with disabilities and their families. We seek to create a loving, inclusive, and supportive church community where everyone can gather, grow, and give.

To embrace and celebrate children and families living with disabilities, providing a loving, inclusive, and supportive church community and equip people with disabilities to participate in the church community as we all gather, grow and give.

Our vision is aligned with Trinity’s Gather, Grow, Give mission.
GATHER
We envision a church where all people, including children and adults with disabilities, feel welcomed and included in church gatherings. We seek to intentionally embrace the unique needs and abilities of every individual through welcoming environments, adapted activities, sensory-friendly spaces, and trained volunteers. We envision a community where all people can glorify God through their unique abilities.
GROW
We envision a ministry that fosters spiritual growth in people with disabilities and volunteers through Bible studies, worship experiences, and faith-based activities that celebrate each person’s unique gifts and talents.
GIVE
We envision a church community where the time, resources, support, and care given to the ministry reflect the boundless love of Christ. Through shared faith and mutual service, we seek to empower families, enrich lives, and strengthen the entire congregation.
Belong at Trinity
Buddies Program
For children with disabilities
The Buddies program pairs volunteers with children who have disabilities, helping them participate in church activities, build friendships, and feel at home in the church community.
Sunday mornings, Trinity Wednesdays, & other church activities.
Bible Study
In partnership with UCP
A Thursday Bible study that provides an opportunity for fellowship, spiritual growth, and meaningful connection through the study of God’s Word.
Thursdays at 10:30 AM | The Trinity Hearth Room
Seekers
A Sunday evening group centered on fellowship, faith, and growing together in community. Need better language to describe!

Meet Debbie.
Debbie serves as Trinity’s Belong Coordinator, helping individuals and families with disabilities find meaningful ways to connect, participate, and grow within the life of the church. She helps coordinate opportunities for friendship, Bible study, worship, and service while working to make sure everyone knows they have a place at Trinity.
