This past Sunday we commissioned four short-term missionaries from our church who are going to East Asia to work with a missionary couple that we support. I thought this counsel and insight from Fulgentius was not only appropriate for them to hear but also for all of us to embrace:

Fulgentius, a sixth century North African pastor, eloquently states that "we must realize that we may do our work better by the piety of our prayers than by the fluency of our speech."
