Bulletins
The below attachments set forth the liturgy of our recent Lord's Day worship services.
We place them on our website for two reasons.
First of all, we desire to encourage those who regularly worship with us to use these liturgies to prepare their hearts in advance of Lord's Day worship. In this, we want to heed the advice of the men who wrote our Westminster Confession of Faith and come to our time together in corporate worship after "a due preparing of [our] hearts."
Secondly, if you are checking out our church, these files will give you a sense of our philosophy and style of worship. One of our overarching commitments is to proclaim the gospel in the flow and progression of each worship service. This progression is summarized and modeled for us in Isaiah 6:1-8 when the prophet saw a vision of the Lord: He first adores and worships the Lord and sees the Lord for who He is. Secondly, he sees himself for who he is: a sinner in need of mercy. He then acknowledges and confesses his guilt and sin. Thirdly, he experiences the forgiveness and atoning grace extended by the Lord. Lastly, he is sent forth by the Lord to serve. This rhythm serves as a guide for our corporate worship services.
